The Friendship Circle at Harvard Chabad was initiated in 2006 by Josh Kushner (’08, B’11). We work in conjunction with communities in the Greater Boston Area to extend a helping hand to families who have children with special needs, and involve them in a full range of Jewish and social experiences.
Our Weekly Sunday Social creates social opportunities for young adults with disabilities. Student volunteers and young adults with special needs spend an amazing time together enjoying fun activities, light dinner, and most of all, friendship.
Because of the structure of this program, consistency is not a must and we appreciate any time that you give – even if it’s only once a semester.
Whether you’re a teenager (13+) or young adult with disabilities, a Harvard undergraduate or graduate student, you help us complete an incredible Circle of Friendship! Email to volunteer or for more information.
